The Boalt Healthcare and Biotech Law Society is a group of law students who are interested in examining and analyzing the intersection between law, society, policy, and science.
While we are a relatively small and new group, we are keen to grow both in numbers and in student activities.
Mission
Our mission is to stimulate the intellectual and professional development of Boalt students interested in health and/or biotech law. We provide a forum for students with a broad range of interests.
Goals
- Foster discussion on cutting edge issues at the intersection of health/biotech and the law
- Explore professional opportunities in health/biotech law
- Network with practitioners
- Promote health and biotech law courses at Boalt
- Increase interaction between Boalt and other healthcare/biotech related professions at UC Berkeley and other area institutions
